TROPICAL CYCLONES:
Un nouveau système Tropical pourrait affecter le centre /
sud des Petites Antilles en fin de semaine. Les risques de
développement sont 20% dans les 5 jours. Ce système se déplace
vers l'ouest à environ 32 kmh. Au vu des prévisions graphiques
GFS ci-dessous, le système pourrait devenir un cyclone
Vendredi et Samedi. Il pourrait passer à environ 400-500 km au
sud-ouest de nos îles Samedi-Dimanche.

TROPICAL
CYCLONES
NHC: Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several
hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands are
associated with a tropical wave. Some gradual
development is possible through the week while this system
moves westward at about 20 mph across the tropical Atlantic
Ocean. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0
percent. Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
Webmaster: according to the charts above, this system could
become a Tropical Cyclone as of Friday-Saturday and run at
about 300 miles SW of our islands on Saturday or/and Sunday.
RÉSUMÉ:
1. TD4 est redevenue une Onde Tropicale assez active. Une partie de sa
perturbation associée stagne juste au nord produisant de
possibles fortes pluies et des orages au large (à environ
400 km). Une autre partie se trouve sur Porto-Rico et
Hispaniola. 2. Une onde tropicale très active est attendue
en fin de semaine. Elle pourrait elle aussi être
accompagnée par un Cyclone Tropical.

Vents faibles, mer calme en baie.

8 h: Assez nuageux. Averses possibles dans le voisinage.

(centré sur Porto-Rico. SXM et St Barth visibles un peu à
droite): Large masse de nuages et d'orages au nord. Masse
nuageuse active sur St Domingue. Radar: Pas grand-chose à
signaler. Orages dans le système au Nord à environ 400 km.
Vents légers sud-est 20 kmh. Mer calme à belle

AUJOURD'HUI, DEMAIN & MERCREDI (Weekend): Le
système orageux au nord immédiat pourrait se rapprocher (pas
certain) et pourrait produire de rares averses et
d'improbables orages aujourd'hui, demain et peut-être
Mercredi.
À PARTIR DE JEUDI:
une large et puissante onde tropicale va approcher les Petites
Antilles. Un Cyclone pourrait naître sur la moitié sud ou
l'extrême sud des Petites Antilles. Tout dépendra de la
puissance de ce système et de sa proximité avec notre région.
Du mauvais temps est possible de Jeudi à Dimanche.
Vents de
6 à 12 nd (10 nd=18,5 kmh), possible 14 nd (25 kmh)
Jeudi. De fortes rafales peuvent se produire.
Mer belle
à agitée 1 à 1,5 m. Température de l'eau au large: 28ºC.

1. The remnants TD4 stay just north our islands and
another part is located on Dom. Rep. 2. A very active
Tropical Wave is expected from Thursday. Possibly
accompanied with a Tropical Cyclone on southern
half of Lesser Antilles.

Partly sunny without showers. Low and variable winds.
Sea (in the bay): calm . History &
observations.
CURRENTLY:
(8-9 am) Mostly cloudy toward the north and partly sunny
toward the south. Light chance of showers in the
vicinity. Temperature: 29ºC | 84ºF (+). Humidity: 84%
(-). Satellite (centered on Puerto Rico now. SXM &
St Barth are visible a little at right. See above in
french forecast): Broad cloud masses. One is located
just north our region and the second on Dom. Rep. Radar:
N/A. Thunderstoms in the disturbance at about 280 mi.

FROM TODAY TO
WEDNESDAY:
becoming cloudier at times with possible occasional
showers. There is also a slight chance of thunderstorm.
FROM THURSDAY
TO SUNDAY: a large and powerful tropical wave will
approach the Lesser Antilles. A Tropical Cyclone could
be born on the southern half or the extreme south of the
Lesser Antilles. Everything will depend on the power of
this system and its proximity to our region. Bad weather
is possible from Thursday to Sunday.

Light 6-12 kts, possible 14 kts Thursday. Beware of
possible strong gusts in showers.
