TROPICAL CYCLONES: SYSTÈME 94L À SURVEILLER DE TRÈS PRÈS!

 L'Onde Tropicale au sud-ouest des Îles du Cap-Vert a maintenant 70% de probabilités de devenir un cyclone dans les 5 prochains jours. Ce système pourrait menacer notre région pendant le weekend prochain mais il est probable qu'il va passer largement au nord-est et que donc ses effets devraient être très limités sur nos îles. TROPICAL CYCLONES: THIS SYSTEM (94L) SHOULD BE VERY CLOSELY MONITORED!... The tropical wave southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands has now 70% chance to develop into a Tropical Cyclone through 5 days. However, this system should not threaten neither affect our region as it is expected to run widely off our islands next weekend. But beware of possible track change.

      • RÉSUMÉ: Une nouvelle Onde Tropicale approche les Petites Antilles. Une deuxième pourrait devenir un Cyclone Tropical et peut-être menacer nos îles en fin de semaine. À surveiller! 
      • DERNIÈRES 24 H: Assez nuageux en 2e Partie de journée avec 4-5 averses et aussi 2-3 averses dans la nuit. Vents Est 15-25 km/h avec des rafales parfois. Mer belle à parfois un peu hachée en baie. Historique et observations. 
      • ACTUELLEMENT (8 h): Quelques nuages. Température: 28ºC (=). Humidité: 84% (+). Satellite (centré sur Porto-Rico. SXM et St Barth visibles un peu à droite): Masse nuageuse de la prochaine onde abordant l'Arc Antillais. Dégagé sur notre région pour le moment. Radar: RAS. Orages au sud-ouest dans l'onde. Vent d'est-nord-est à Est autour de 22 kmh avec des rafales. Mer belle en baie. Observations 
      • ATTENTION ! MER ET PLAGES | ATTENTION AUSSI AUX FORTES AVERSES ET POSSIBLES ORAGES | CHASSEZ LES MOUSTIQUES: VIDEZ VOS RÉCIPIENTS D'EAU STAGNANTE Y COMPRIS LES CUVETTES / BAIN DE PIEDS !
      • PRÉVISIONS AUJOURD'HUI & DEMAIN: Une dégradation est attendue dans les prochaines heures (Onde Tropicale). Assez beau temps brumeux aujourd'hui avec cependant 30/40% de risques d'averses et 50 à 60% la nuit prochaine et demain matin. Quelques orages possibles. Demain: bonnes chances d'averses le matin (60%) s'améliorant en cours de journée. 
      • ET ENSUITE...? Assez beau temps en général avec une petite chance d'averses passagères. Une Tempête tropicale devrait passer pendant le weekend au large de nos îles. Si ce cyclone passe à plus de 200 km au Nord-est, ses effets devraient -en principe- rester limités pour nos îles.

      • SYNOPSIS: A Tropical Wave is approaching the Lesser Antilles. A second TW is expected to approach our region or run widely off around Saturday as a tropical cyclone. So, it should be closely monitored.
      • PREVIOUS 24 H: Fairly good weather at first becoming cloudier at midday with 4-5 scattered showers in the vicinity. 2-3 showers during the night. NE to E winds 8-14 kts with higher gusts in showers. Sea (in the bay): smooth to slightly choppy at times. History & observations.
      • CURRENTLY: (8:00) A few clouds. Temperature: 28ºC | 82ºF (=). Humidity: 84% (+). Satellite (centered on Puerto Rico now. SXM & St Barth are visible a little at right. See above in french forecast): Tropical Wave #22 approaching, fair around SXM with only a few passing clouds. Radar: NTR at this time. Thunderstoms further southeast in the Wave. ENE to E Winds around 11 kts with gusts. In the bay: smooth wavelets. Observations
      • CAUTION ! SMALL BOATS AND SEA BATHERS ! ALSO: POSSIBLE HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. | HUNT MOSQUITOES! EMPTY CONTAINERS OF STANDING WATER INCLUDING THE BOWLS (foot bath)
      • FROM TODAY TO TOMORROW: A Tropical wave is expected until tomorrow midday. Fairly good weather slightly cloudy and hazy this morning with a slight chance of an isolated shower. Then, becoming cloudier in afternoon or evening with an increasing chance of showers 30/40 % and 50/60% tonight and tomorrow morning. A few thunderstorms possible too. Then, an improvement is likely from approx midday or afternoon.
      • AND THEN ? Followings: Fairly good weather until the weekend with only a slight chance of passing showers. Serious deterioration is possible during the WE due to a Tropical Cyclone approaching. However, as it should remain widely off our region, its effects will be probably limited.
