Nouvelles
prévisions du 25 Mai (en Anglais). MAUVAISE NOUVELLE...
Hélas, les risques de cyclones pour 2017 augmentent. En effet, on attend
un El Niño faible ou inexistant. Le 20 mai, The Weather Company a publié
hors-saison.
TROPICAL WEATHER: NTR at this time. The Atlantic
hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th for the US
area & from July 1st through November 30th in French Antilles.
Chance of formation over our region are very low in June and low in
July. Serious things start around mid-August.
New
forecast May 25 (in English). BAD NEWS!
chance of tropical cyclone is raising... On May 20, The Weather Company
issued an updated forecast, raising their numbers to 14 named storms, 7
hurricanes, and 3 major hurricanes to account for Tropical Storm Arlene
as well as the decreasing chance of El Niño forming during the season.
On May 25, NOAA released their prediction, citing a 70% chance of an
above average season due to "a weak or nonexistent El Niño", calling for
11–17 named storms, 5–9 hurricanes, and 2–4 major hurricanes.
