SITUATION: Le système frontal stationnant sur la région semble se décaler lentement vers le sud-est. On n'attend pas d'amélioration véritable avant la fin de nuit ou demain matin. De plus, une Onde Tropicale pourrait arriver et affecter légèrement dans les prochaines 36 h l'ensemble des Petites Antilles. TEMPS: En ce moment: très
nuageux avec des orages au sud-est se décalant doucement
vers la Guadeloupe. Mais les pluies ont cessé (à part
quelques gouttes). On prévoit 70% de risques de pluie en
cette fin d'après-midi et cette nuit et des orages restent
encore possibles mais rien n'est certain. Demain,
amélioration en vue, partiellement nuageux avec seulement
20% de probabilités d'averses. Samedi, assez beau avec
20-30% de probabilités d'averses. Dimanche, 20% mais 60% à
la nuit et Lundi, 50-50% avec un ciel souvent nuageux et 20
à 50%

SYNOPSIS: Persistence of a frontal system over the region but it seems to drift slowly southeastward. No frank improvement until tomorrow morning. In addition, a Tropical Wave could approach and slightly affect all the Lesser Antilles within about 36 h. WEATHER: Currently: mostly
cloudy but no rain except a few drops. Today and tonight:
still good chance of showers 70-70% but not sure. Tomorrow:
fairly good wx with only 20% chance of rain. Saturday 25%.
Sunday 20-60%. Monday 50%... The rest of the week could be
relatively humid too.

SEAS & SWELL:
Winds: light this evening, could tenporarily increase
overnight and become light to low tomorrow with
possible strong gusts in showers. Expected to
gradually increase from Saturday and especially Sunday
with 11-16 kts. Seas: 5-7 ft, moderate to slight
becoming slight to smooth tomorrow (except swell) and
gradually increasing from Saturday. Swell: Possible
heavy NNE to NE crossed with E swell and ESE wind sea.

VIGILANCE JAUNE Fortes pluies et Orages jusqu'à ce soir SITUATION: Persistance d'un système frontal et de creux de surface (talwegs). On n'attend pas d'amélioration franche avant demain matin. De plus, on prévoit un temps très nuageux et plutôt humide à partir de Dimanche et Lundi prochain. TEMPS: En ce moment: très
nuageux avec des orages environ 50 km au nord d'Anguilla
(60-70 km du NBBC) et 80% de risques de pluies. On prévoit
70-90% de risques de pluie aujourd'hui (légère baisse pour
ce matin) et la nuit prochaine et des orages sont très
possibles. Demain, légère amélioration possible à la
mi-journée avec 40 puis 20% de probabilités d'averses la
nuit. Samedi, assez beau T mais à nouveau des averses
possibles en soirée et nuit 40%. À partir de Dimanche ou
Lundi, on attend une nouvelle dégradation modérée (Ondes
Tropicales?) avec un ciel souvent nuageux et 30 à 60% de risques d'averses
jusqu'au Samedi suivant.

SYNOPSIS: Persistence of a frontal system and surface troughs (talwegs). No frank improvement until tomorrow morning. In addition, we expect a cloudy and wet weather from next Sunday or Monday. WEATHER: At the moment:
cloudy with thunderstorms further north of Anguilla (≃30
miles) and chance of rain (80%). 70-90% rainfall is expected
today and next night and thunderstorms are very possible.
Slight improvement tomorrow midday with a 40 percent chance
of showers and 20% at night. Saturday, fair weather but
again possible showers in the evening and night 40%. From
Sunday or Monday, we expect a slight but long lasting
deterioration (Tropical Wave?) with cloudy to partly cloudy
skies and 30 to 60% chance of showers until the following
Saturday.
WINDS,
SEAS & SWELL:
Light East-SouthEast to East winds up to 10 kts with
gusts possible under stormy clouds may strengthen a
little tonight (at SSE) but may become low and
variable as well. Light reinforcement from Saturday
less than 10 kts. Moderate to slight seas becoming
smooth to slight. NNE swell (almost north), 13 seconds
and 1,70 m/5.6 ft (buoy at NE of St Martin) and
crossed with easterly wind sea.

Nouvelle image d'hier, 10 Mai. les pompes ont été remises en route. Le même petit ridicule remorqueur s'est énervé mais pas grand-chose n'a bougé, comme d'habitude... Nouvelle tentative lors des prochaines Grandes Marées. Etant donné la faiblesse des marées ici, mieux vaut en rire... Il devrait cependant y avoir 2 remorqueurs. On peut rêver!

Stranded former trawler "YACHT HOP": New image of Yesterday, May 10th. The pumps have been restarted. Same tiny ridiculous tug with no effect... again! ... New attempt during the next High Tides. Given the weak tides here, it is better to laugh... There should however be 2 tugs. We can dream!
