SYNTHÈSE | SYNOPSIS

 

FR:  Les Alizés restent assez forts apportant des passages nuageux de temps à autres et des grains accompagnés d'averses et de fortes rafales. Des masses nuageuses assez denses pourraient aussi arriver de l'Est prochainement. La mer reste forte aujourd'hui avec une légère et progressive amélioration à partir de demain & Jeudi. Vigilance Jaune Météo-France en vigueur jusqu'à demain matin au moins. Pas d'amélioration significative du temps attendue dans les prochains jours: De larges périodes ensoleillées mais aussi des averses isolées à éparses sont probables notamment du soir au matin.

EN: Trade Winds remain fresh bringing passing cloudiness with showers and gusts from time to time. Seas remain rough today with a slight and gradual improvement from tomorrow & Thursday. Météo-France Yellow Watch (in Fr) remain in effect until tomorrow morning at least. No significant weather improvement expected during the next few days: Large sunny periods but also isolated to scattered showers are likely mainly from dusk to dawn.

HIER: Assez beau temps parfois avec cependant des averses passagères notamment en soirée, la nuit et tôt ce matin. Quelques coups de tonnerre la nuit dernière. Vents frais à forts avec de fortes rafales, mer très agitée en baie avec des moutons et des embruns.

NBBC, 9 h: Partiellement nuageux devenant partiellement ensoleillé. Les vents sont modérés 16 à 24 km/h avec de fortes rafales. La mer est moins agitée en baie mais avec encore quelques moutons. Température: 26,8ºC, ressentie 28º. Humidité 64 % (). Chances de pluies: 20% à 10 h (diminuant). Actuellement, ORAGE à 250 km à l'ouest (9:25). RADAR: RAS. Température de la mer autour de 27ºC. Voir les conditions "Live" (en temps-réel) à The Valley (Anguilla), la meilleure station météo des environs notamment pour les vents. Distance depuis le NBBC: 18 km (10 milles nautiques). SVP, acceptez ce pop-up, il n'y a aucun danger! The Valley est la capitale d'Anguilla. Autre station pour The Valley: Airport.

AUJOURD'HUI: Venteux, partiellement nuageux devenant partiellement ensoleillé avec une probabilité d'averses de 20% dans la journée et 40% la nuit prochaine. Orages possibles mais peu probables. Vents modérés à frais avec de fortes rafales et mer dangereuse (voir les bulletins officiels). Mer bien agitée en baie avec des moutons.

DEMAIN: peu de changements (ABT) avec des chances moyennes d'averses du soir à la nuit (env 50%). Eclaircies de temps à autres. Légère amélioration vents et mer.

JEUDI: peu de changements (ABT) avec 60% de chances d'averses occasionnelles du soir au matin. Eclaircies de temps à autres. Vents 15-30 kmh. Mer agitée.

VENDREDI: quelques belles éclaircies mais les probabilités d'averses sont élevées: 70-80%.

SAMEDI 24 DÉCEMBRE (Réveillon de Noël): 60% de risques d'averses. Très nuageux à couvert le matin. Soirée: nuageux avec 50% de probabilités d'averses. Les vents se renforcent à 40 kmh. Mer redevenant forte. Météo-France annonce de rares averses.

DIMANCHE, JOUR DE NOËL: ABT. assez nuageux le matin avec 50% de risques d'averses. Amélioration possible en soirée. Vents forts et mer forte s'améliorant pendant la nuit.

SEMAINE d'APRÈS (absolument pas garanti !): Désolé... même type de temps attendu. ABT mais 45% de chances de pluie en moyenne jusqu'au jeudi 29. Vents et mer: 22 km/h en moyenne, mer forte devenant agitée. Nouveau renforcement à partir du Jeudi 29.

YESTERDAY: relatively good weather at times but with a passing moderate to heavy showers late afternoon, night and early this morning. Few thunderclaps occurred from midnight to 4 am. Fresh to strong winds with violent gusts, choppy waves and breakers in the bay.

NBBC, 10:15 am: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy at times. Moderate to fresh winds 10-15 mph with higher gusts. Choppy waves in the bay but some improvement. Temp is currently 27,8ºC (82F). Humidity: 57 % (decreasing). Chance of showers is currently 20% (decreasing). Currently, there are no THUNDERSTORMS at less than 500 km. RADAR: NTR. Sea water temperature around 27ºC (80.6ºF). No showers for 3 hours.



TODAY: Chance of thunder- showers. 40 percent chance of showers this afternoon. Thunderstorms possible. Moderate to cool winds with strong gusts and dangerous sea (see official bulletins). Sea well agitated bay with possible breakers.
TOMORROW: few changes (ABT) with average chance of showers from evening to night (about 50%). Thickened from time to time. Slight improvement in wind and sea.
THURSDAY: few changes (ABT) with 60 percent chance of occasional showers overnight. Thickened from time to time. Winds 15-30 km / h. Rough sea.
FRIDAY: partly cloudy, but mostly cloudy. High: 70-80%.
SATURDAY 24 DECEMBER (Christmas Eve): 60% risk of showers. Mostly cloudy in the morning. Evening: Cloudy with 50 percent chance of showers. The winds are increasing at 40 km / h. Mer becoming strong again. Météo-France announces rare showers.
SUNDAY, CHRISTMAS DAY: ABT. Partly cloudy in the morning with 50 percent chance of showers. Improvement possible in the evening. Strong winds and strong sea improving overnight.
WEEK OF AFTER (absolutely not guaranteed!): Sorry ... same type of time expected. ABT but 45% chance of rain on average until Thursday 29. Wind and sea: 22 km / h on average, strong sea becoming agitated. New reinforcement from Thursday 29.

TODAY: Windy, partly cloudy becoming partly sunny with a 20% chance of showers in the day and 40% tonight. A high wind advisory is in effect. Violent gusts expected. Choppy waves in the bay with numerous whitecaps and rough seas offshore including Caribbean Sea.. (Go to official bulletins ) 

TOMORROW:  few changes (Fairly good... but...) with medium chance of showers from evening to night (about 50%). Sunny spells from time to time. Slight improvement in winds and seas.

THURSDAY:  few changes (Fairly good... but...) with 60 percent chance of occasional showers mainly from dusk to dawn. Sunny spells from time to time. Winds 15-30 km / h (10-18 mph). Moderate to near rough sea.

FRIDAY: a few sunny period but chance of showers are high: 70-80%.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24 (Christmas Eve): 60% risk of showers. Mostly cloudy to overcast in the morning. Evening: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. However, Météo-France says: "rare showers". Winds increasing again at 40 km / h (25 mph). Seas becoming rough again.

SUNDAY, CHRISTMAS DAY: Fairly good wx. Rather cloudy in the morning with a 50 percent chance of showers. Improvement possible in the afternoon or evening. Strong winds and rough sea decreasing overnight.

FOLLOWING WEEK (not guaranteed at all !): Sorry ... same type of weather expected. Fairly good wx but with a 45% chance of rain on average until Thursday 29. Winds and seas: 22 km / h on average, rough seas becoming moderate. New winds and seas reinforcement from Thursday 29.

CYCLONES 2016

 

FR: La saison cyclonique 2016 de l'Atlantique Nord s'est terminée officiellement le 30 Novembre avec 15 tempêtes nommées, 7 ouragans dont 3 ouragans majeurs, 1765 victimes et 11.6 milliards dollars de dégâts. Notre région n'a subi aucun phénomène. Plus d'information. La saison 2017 reprendra officiellement le 1er Juin pour les zones US et le 1er Juillet 2017 pour les Antilles Françaises mais il n'est pas rare que des cyclones se forment dès le mois de Mai de l'Amérique Centrale au Sud-Est USA.

EN: The 2016 North Atlantic hurricane season ended November, 30 with 15 named storms, 7 hurricanes including 3 major hurricanes, 1.765 fatalities and 11.6 billions of dollars damage. Our region have not been affected by any Tropical Cyclone. More information. The 2017 season officially will resume on June 1 st for French Antilles and July 1st  for US areas, but it is not uncommon for cyclones to form as of May between Central America & Southeastern USA.
