PRÉVISIONS DÉTAILLÉES (FR):
HIER: Assez beau temps avec cependant quelques averses. Vents légers, mer belle en baie.
NBBC, 8:40 h: "Temps à grains". Partiellement nuageux à parfois très nuageux avec des averses et des vents de sud-est en rafales ainsi que des embruns. Mer assez agitée en baie avec des moutons. Température: 27ºC au NBBC, ressentie 29º. Humidité 70 à 85 %. Chances de pluies 80%. Actuellement, il n'y a aucun ORAGE dans un rayon de 1700 km. RADAR: plusieurs grains en approche. Température de la mer autour de 27ºC. AVERSES à: 7:30h, 9:35 h.

AUJOURD'HUI: Des averses sont probables ce matin mais une amélioration est attendue cet après-midi et la nuit prochaine avec cependant encore un petit risque d'averses. Wunderground annonce 50% d'averses dans la journée et 20% la nuit prochaine.Vents se renforçant 20-25-30 km avec de violentes rafales et mer devenant agitée à forte en Atlantique. Mer assez agitée et hachée en baie. La prudence est fortement recommandée en mer pour les petits bateaux et sur toutes les plages!
DEMAIN: Amélioration probable. Le soleil devrait dominer une grande partie de la journée avec de rares averses. Une nouvelle et relative dégradation est possible en soirée et nuit avec beaucoup de nuages et des pluies possibles. Par contre, vents forts et mer forte voire très forte renforcée par une forte houle de Nord croisée Est.
SEMAINE SUIVANTE (pas garanti du tout!): en principe, peu de changements. Les vents et la mer restent forts. Partiellement à souvent nuageux avec des chances d'averses mais aussi de belles périodes ensoleillées.

YESTERDAY: Fair weather with a few showers. Light winds, smooth to calm sea in bay.
NBBC, 9:45 am: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy at times with a few moderate showers and sea spray. Trade winds at about 12 kts with higher gusts. Choppy sea in the bay. Temp is currently 25.8ºC / 78.4º F (decreasing). Humidity: 80% (rising). Currently, there are no THUNDERSTORMS at less than 1500 km/800 miles. RADAR: several squalls approaching from the East. Sea water temperature around 27ºC (80.6ºF).

TODAY: Showers are likely this morning but an improvement is expected this afternoon and tonight with however still a little risk of showers. Wunderground calls for 50% rain showers in the day and 20% tonight. Winds increasing 20-25-30 km with strong gusts and sea becoming rough in the Atlantic. Choppy waves in the bay with numerous whitecaps. Small craft and sea-bathers should continue to highly exercise caution mainly along eastern and northern coastlines.
TOMORROW: Improvement expected. The sun should dominate much of the day with rare showers. A new and relative deterioration is possible in the evening and night with lot of clouds and possible rain showers. On the other hand, strong winds and strong or very strong sea should be reinforced by a heavy north swell mixed East. Small craft and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution during the weekend.
NEXT WEEK (not guaranteed at all !): In principle, little change. Winds and seas remain strong and rough. Partly to often cloudy with a good chance of showers but also large sunny spells. Small craft and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution.

Renforcement des alizés et arrivée d'une houle de nord dimanche avec nette dégradation de l'état de la mer.
Prévisions pour les prochaines 24h: Temps Significatif : Passagèrement nuageux, averses éparses, devenant plus rares en soirée et nuit de samedi à dimanche. Petit risque orageux en mi-journée et l'après-midi. Visibilité : Bonne supérieure à 10 milles nautiques, réduite à moins de deux milles nautiques sous averses.
Vent : Est à est-nord-est 4 à 5 Beaufort, fraîchissant 5 à 6 B la nuit de samedi à dimanche. Rafales sous averses 25 à 35 noeuds. Mer Agitée avec des creux de 2m à 2m50. Elle devient forte la nuit prochaine, les creux dépassant les 3m. Une houle de nord s'établit en fin de nuit et vient croiser la mer du vent, rendant la mer hachée et peu maniable.
Dimanche et lundi : temps variable, averses plus marquées lundi. Alizé d'est-nord-est 6 B, localement 7 B dans les canaux avec fortes rafales. Mer forte et hachée, creux moyens de 3m50 à 4m, croisée par houle de nord.

Wx: Skies today and tonight will be partly cloudy with a few cloudy spells with passing showers.
Winds: ENE-E at 16-22 kt (30-41 km/h ) on land reaching 26 kt (48 km/h) over open waters. Gusts to 35 kt (64 km/h) are possible mainly on Sunday.
Seas: Rough with heights 2.4m/8ft. Warnings for mariners and sea bathers remain in effect. Sea Bathers should avoid beaches mainly on the north and east of the Islands and Small craft operators should not venture far from port..

CYCLONES 2016
FR: La saison cyclonique 2016 de l'Atlantique Nord s'est terminée officiellement le 30 Novembre avec 15 tempêtes nommées, 7 ouragans dont 3 ouragans majeurs, 1765 victimes et 11.6 milliards dollars de dégâts. Notre région n'a subi aucun phénomène. Plus d'information. La saison 2017 reprendra officiellement le 1er Juin pour les zones US et le 1er Juillet 2017 pour les Antilles Françaises mais il n'est pas rare que des cyclones se forment dès le mois de Mai de l'Amérique Centrale au Sud-Est USA.
EN: The 2016 North Atlantic hurricane season ended November, 30 with 15 named storms, 7 hurricanes including 3 major hurricanes, 1.765 fatalities and 11.6 billions of dollars damage. Our region have not been affected by any Tropical Cyclone. More information. The 2017 season officially will resume on June 1 st for French Antilles and July 1st for US areas, but it is not uncommon for cyclones to form as of May between Central America & Southeastern USA.
