TEMPS:

 

  • Le CYCLONE NICOLE a provoqué de FORTES HOULES DE NORD à NNE qui affectent toute la région jusqu'à l'Amérique du Sud. Ces houles peuvent affecter aussi toutes les côtes de l'Atlantique Nord (houle d'Ouest) de l'Europe à l'Amérique du Nord (houle d'Est) en passant par l'Afrique, les Antilles, et l'Amérique du sud. Elles devraient cependant s'amortir progressivement dans les prochains jours.
  • La perturbation 99L au nord peut affecter marginalement nos îles avec de fortes pluies et des orages.
  • Arrivée d'une ONDE TROPICALE dans 5 jours.

  • HIER: Souvent nuageux mais sans pluie. Nombreux orages intra-nuages en soirée, sans tonnerre (trop loin). Belle averse isolée ce matin vers 7:30 (durée 10 mn).
  • ACTUELLEMENT 9 h: Assez BT en grande partie nuageux.  Mer calme mais forte houle de Nord. Température 29ºc ressentie 37º. Mer: 29º. Vent 14 kmh de SE. Humidité: 87%. Chance de pluie dans l'heure: 10%.
  • AUJOURD'HUI: partiellement nuageux à parfois très nuageux avec une chance d'averses et peut-être d'orages surtout ce matin. Vents légers à moyens de SE. Mer peu agitée à agitée au large. Forte houle de nord s'améliorant doucement.
  • DEMAIN: Assez beau temps avec cependant quelques averses possibles. 
  • À partir de VENDREDI + WEEKEND: Assez beau avec cependant quelques averses possibles. Possible dégradation Dimanche ou Lundi avec l'arrivée d'une OT.
  • SEMAINE SUIVANTE (non garanti): Possible dégradation en début de semaine. Ensuite: assez beau temps avec des petites chances d'averses. Vents et mer: RAS.

TROPICAL CYCLONES:

 

  • NICOLE: terminé
  • 99L, PERTURBATION non-tropicale située au NE des Îles Turks & Caicos  (+ avec le NHC). Un cyclone tropical ou sub-tropical devrait probablement se former dans les 2 prochains jours. Ce système est prévu de se déplacer aujourd'hui vers le nord puis tourner au nord-nord-ouest Mardi avant de se diriger  vers le NNE et de fusionner avec un front froid sur l'Ouest Atlantique ce weekend. Indépendamment d'un éventuel développement, de fortes pluies sont possibles d'Hispaniola au Leewards (notre région).
  • Chances de formation dans les 48 h: 60%; chances de formation dans les 5 jours: 80%. CE SYSTÈME NE MENACE PAS NOS ÎLES
  • POSSIBLE FORMATION CYCLONIQUE à partir du mardi 25 octobre entre les Petites Antilles et les Açores. CE SYSTÈME NE DEVRAIT PAS MENACER LES PETITES ANTILLES

  • NICOLE: over
  • 99L. A non-tropical low pressure system is located about 250 miles northeast of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Cloudiness and thunderstorms associated with this system are currently located well east of the center due to strong upper-level westerly winds. However, upper-level conditions are forecast to become more conducive for this system to acquire some tropical characteristics, and a subtropical or tropical cyclone is likely to form within the next couple of days. The low is forecast to move northward today and turn north-northwestward on Thursday, before turning north-northeastward and merging with a cold front over the western Atlantic by the weekend. The NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft that was scheduled to investigate this system this afternoon has been canceled. Regardless of development, locally heavy rainfall is possible over Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, and portions of the northern Leeward Islands today. (+ with NHC)
