KARL reste prévu de passer loin au nord-est de nos îles Mercredi et Jeudi. Il pourrait devenir un ouragan de catégorie 1 Vendredi au sud des Bermudes puis catégorie 2 rapidement. Karl ne menace pas nos îles.

 La Dépression Tropicale THIRTEEN / Future Tempête Tropicale LISA (13) est née sur l'Est de l'Atlantique. Ce système ne menace aucunement nos îles.

 Aucun cyclone ne menace les Petites Antilles





TROPICAL CYCLONE KARL. No change. Its estimated path by (all) computer models runs widely northeast off our islands. ETA: Wednesday and Thursday. No threat to our islands.

 TROPICAL DEPRESSION THIRTEEN / future TS LISA emerged this evening over eastern Atlantic. No threat to our islands.

 No tropical system threatens our islands.

 ACTUELLEMENT, IL N'Y A QUASIMENT AUCUN RISQUE DE CYCLONE SUR LES PETITES ANTILLES...



KARL. Un lent renforcement est possible dans les prochains jours. Les modèles informatiques le font passer maintenant entre 400 et 700 km au nord-est de nos îles Mercredi et Jeudi. Les risques sont donc maintenant faibles. RESTONS CEPENDANT SUR NOS GARDES...

 Aucun autre cyclone ne menace les Petites Antilles





TROPICAL CYCLONE KARL. Slow strengthening is possible from now. Its estimated path by (all) computer models runs widely northeast off our islands between 250 & 440 miles. However, we must continue to closely monitor it. ETA: Wednesday and Thursday. STAY TUNED!

 No other tropical system threatens our islands.



2 AUTRES SYSTÈMES TROPICAUX




  • 96L (Future LISA) sud-ouest des îles du Cap-Vert. Il devrait trouver bientôt un environnement favorable pour devenir la Dépression Tropicale THIRTEEN ou la Tempête Tropicale LISA. Cependant, ce système risque de trouver ensuite des conditions très défavorables.  
Ce système ne présente aucune menace pour notre région.
  • DÉPRESSION TROPICALE JULIA: Terminé!


2 OTHER TROPICAL SYSTEMS

  • Invest 96L / future LISA. Located southwest Cabo Verde Islands. Could encounter more conducive condition to become a Tropical Depression or Storm soon. However, this system is expected to encounter very bad condition later this week. NO THREAT TO OUR REGION. 
  • JULIA: Remnants low.

ONDES TROPICALES ET AUTRES PERTURBATIONS NOUS CONCERNANT
  1. Onde Tropicale faible en ce moment. Devrait s'éloigner lentement.
  2. Talweg/queue au sud de Karl. Arrivée Jeudi ou vendredi. Faible activité actuellement.
  3. TEMPÊTE TROPICAL KARL. Mercredi-jeudi. Devrait passer à environ 600 km au nord-est. À SURVEILLER!
  4. INVEST 96L. Ne menace pas notre région. Son onde pourrait arriver dans 1 semaine




 TROPICAL WAVES AND OTHER DISTURBANCES THAT COULD AFFECT OUR ISLANDS
  1. Weak Tropical Wave. South our islands. ETA: currently. Expected to slowly move away westward.
  2. Trough / Tail south of Karl. ETA: approx. Thursday or Friday. Low activity at this time.
  3. TS KARL: ETA: Wednesday-Thursday widely off & well NE from our islands.
  4. INVEST 96. No threat to our region. Its Tropicale Wave could arrive within 1 week.



METEO | WEATHER

Une onde tropicale faible passe très lentement au sud de notre région puis s'éloigne. Quelques restes de la précédente perturbation subsistent dans les environs. 
Approche du CYCLONE KARL (tempête tropicale) à environ 600 km au Nord-est, de Mercredi à Jeudi. En principe, le temps devrait rester beau sauf si ce système se rapproche trop. De plus, la partie sud d'un cyclone est la plus calme.
  • Hier: beau temps. Une belle et longue averse tôt ce matin.
  • En ce moment, ≃ 9 h: Partiellement nuageux, mer calme, vents légers. Température 28,1ºC* au NBBC.
  • Plus tard aujourd'hui: En principe, plutôt beau temps sauf si l'Onde Tropicale se renforce ou s'étend vers le nord. Quelques nuages subsistent aussi à l'Est. Possibles averses isolées parfois soutenues plus tard aujourd'hui et plutôt le soir ou la nuit.
  • Demain et Mercredi: Assez beau temps. Faibles chances d'averses (possibles tôt le matin, entre 5 et 7 h).
  • Jeudi: plutôt beau temps avec de rares averses. 
  • De Jeudi nuit à Dimanche, un talweg pourrait apporter quelques averses, surtout Dimanche.
*Les températures doivent être prises à l'ombre et dans un endroit aéré. Les températures prises en plein soleil n'ont aucune valeur...



A weak tropical wave passes very slowly south of our region. Some weak remnants of the previous disturbance stay in the area. KARL (tropical storm) expected to approach our islands at about 370 mi/600 km north-east from Wednesday to Thursday. In principle, the weather should remain fine unless this system is too close.

  • Yesterday: partly sunny. A moderate and long shower occurred early this morning.
  • Right now, ≃ 9 am: partly cloudy, calm waves, light winds. Temperature 28,1ºC /  82.6º F at Nettle Bay Beach Club.
  • Later today: In principle, rather good weather unless the tropical wave strengthens or extends northward. Possible occasional showers later today and especially in the evening, tonight and late night.
  • From Tomorrow to Wednesday: Partly sunny to partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers (possible early morning, between 5 and 7 am).
  • Wednesday and Thursday: rather good weather on Wednesday with scarce showers. Chances increase from Thursday night. In an other hand, KARL should approach as tropical storm at about 600 km (370 mi) north-east. In principle, the weather should remain fine unless this system comes too close.
  • From Thursday night to Sunday, a trough (Karl's tail) may bring showers.
