Ouf! La trajectoire estimée de la Dépression Tropicale TWELVE née hier sur les îles du Cap-Vert devrait passer maintenant nettement plus au nord de NOS ÎLES. Ce n'est pas sûr et certain, donc il faut garder un œil dessus... Date d'arrivée estimée: entre mardi et jeudi comme Tempête Tropicale KARL. RESTEZ À L'ÉCOUTE!

 NOTE: d'après le modèle GFS, ce système devrait s'effondrer avant d'aborder les Petites Antilles probablement à cause de vents de cisaillement défavorables. On croise les doigts...

 Aucun autre système cyclonique ne menace nos îles.


Phew! The estimated path of Tropical Depression TWELVE that emerged yesterday on the Cape Verde Islands is currently going off the northern Lesser Antilles. This is probably not definitive, and it's remain necessary to closely monitor this phenomenon. ETA: between Tuesday and Thursday as Tropical Storm KARL. 
STAY TUNED!
NOTE: According to GFS model, this system should collapse before reaching the Lesser Antilles probably due to unfavorable winds shear. We cross fingers...

 No other tropical system threatens our islands.

Ce n'est probablement pas définitif, mais il faut surveiller ce phénomène de près. Date d'arrivée estimée: ≃ 1 semaine soit jeudi de la semaine prochaine comme Tempête Tropicale KARL.   • Ce matin à 10 h: beau temps, mer belle, vents légers. Température 30,8ºC.
  • Plus tard: Beau temps jusqu'à ce soir.
  • Nuit prochaine et demain: possible arrivée de nuages et d'averses. Orages possibles.
  • Vendredi soir à lundi: possible mauvais temps au passage d'une onde tropicale.
  • De lundi soir au vendredi 23 nous pourrions voir approcher le cyclone KARL avec de fortes pluies, des vents forts et des orages, mais on espère que celui-ci passera au large. S'il passe suffisamment au nord-est: assez beau temps.

  • From Friday night to Monday: A Tropical wave should arrive this weekend. It could produce showers and possibly thunderstorms from Saturday to Monday but not sure. 
  • From Monday night to perhaps Friday Sept 23, Tropical Cyclone KARL could approach our region, but we hope that it will go off or collapse before arriving. Heavy showers, strong winds, rough seas & thunderstorms are possible. If it move widely off at NE or dissipate: fairly good wx.

Une forte masse nuageuse se rapproche lentement (talweg issu de la Tempête Ian). Elle pourrait donner de nombreux nuages et des averses de la nuit prochaine au weekend (peut-être lundi) d'autant plus qu'une Onde Tropicale est prévue pour Dimanche ou lundi. 
Très mauvais temps POSSIBLE aux alentours de jeudi prochain avec la Tempête Tropicale KARL.
