RÉSUMÉ

Un nouveau front froid assez costaud aborde Cuba. Arrivée prévue: à partir de lundi.
Une faible perturbation arrive de l'est.
Les vents et la mer se calment
Tempête au large des côtes américaines. Houle de nord prévue dans quelques jours.

Hier: très nuageux à couvert le matin avec des petites averses et quelques éclaircies occasionnelles. Assez BT dans l'après-midi. Vent de secteur Est environ 20-25 km/h avec des rafales plus fortes. Mer un peu agitée en baie avec quelques moutons. Température 26ºC à 10 h au NBBC. 

Actuellement au NBBC (8 h): ce matin, très nuageux à partiellement ensoleillé, vents faibles et mer belle en baie. Température 24-25ºC. 

Image satellite actuellement: encore beaucoup de nuages sur, autour et à l'est de St Martin mais la nébulosité est moins compacte qu'hier. Possible dissipation plus tard.

Prochaines 48 h: temps très nuageux à partiellement nuageux avec de belles éclaircies dans l'après-midi et de rares averses. Averses possibles la nuit et le matin. Vents faibles à modérés. La mer s'améliore au large.

Lundi, mardi et peut-être mercredi: un front froid relativement actif devrait traverser la région. De bonnes averses sont possibles, parfois fortes. Une petite chance d'orages. Vents parfois faibles mais ils devraient se renforcer à nouveau à partir de mardi soir ou mercredi.

Jours suivants: régime d'Alizés frais (=assez forts) pouvant apporter de rares averses passagères mais en principe, c'est le soleil qui devrait dominer. La mer redevient très agitée à possiblement forte au large.

A new relatively active cold front approaches Cuba. Arrival: from Monday. 
A weak disturbance coming from the east. 
The winds and the sea calm down 
Storm off the US coast. Northerly swells expected within a few days. 


Last 24 h: Morning: mostly cloudy with light showers here and there, a few sunny spells. Significant improvement in the afternoon. Easterly wind 12-16 mph with higher gusts. Slight to choppy waves in the bay with some whitecaps. Temperature 79ºF at 10 am at NBBC. 

Currently (8:30 am)This morning, mostly cloudy to partly sunny, light winds and smooth sea in the bay. Temperature 25ºC/77ºF. 

Satellite now: a lot of clouds around St Martin but less than yesterday. They could dissipate this afternoon.

Next 48 h: Fairly fine wx. Partly cloudy to partly sunny skies with rare showers. Possible showers during the night and early morning. Moderate to light winds. The sea is getting better. 

Monday, Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday: a relatively active cold front will cross the region. Moderate to heavy showers are possible. Slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. Light winds at times but they should strengthen again from late Tuesday or Wednesday. 

Following days: fairly good wx. Fresh trade winds. They can bring few passing showers but in principle the sun should dominate. Seas becoming choppy to possibly rough in open waters.
